Molar Mentoring Ltd was launched in 2017 by Heidi Grimwood. Molar provides the NEBDN National Diploma course for Dental Nurses. We also provide a variety of extended duties courses, some of which are bespoke to Molar.
We have a dedicated Course Coordinator, providing 24/7 support to all of our students and practices.
Our Recruitment Coordinator supports practices with finding Trainee Dental Nurses and Trainees, Dental Practices.
We have several tutors, who support students with their coursework and exam revision. We also have the Molar Mentors - past students of Molar, who are now qualified Dental Nurses. They provide invaluable support to our trainees with questions regarding, exams, coursework and opportunities after qualification.
In 2023 we launched The Molar Mindset – a free platform and resources to help and support Dental Nurses with their health and wellbeing. In 2024 we aim to launch the Health and Wellbeing champion course, to enable at least one Dental Nurse from each practice in the UK to become their practices point of contact for staff wellbeing. This course will be provided by Molar and the NCFE.
In 2024 we will also be launching the NCFE Dental Nurse Diploma – allowing Practices and Trainee Dental Nurses a choice of courses with which to gain their qualification.
We aim to support and encourage all Dental Nurses with any aspect of their training or continual development.
