National Examining Board for Dental Nurses

The National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) is a leading provider of qualifications, delivering awards in both pre-registration and post-registration aspects of clinical practice. As a registered charity, NEBDN has been examining and awarding qualifications for over 75 years, and ensures that students’ knowledge, understanding and practical skills are assessed by highly experienced course providers.

As a trainee dental nurse, you can achieve the National Diploma qualification with NEBDN. Information regarding this can be found on their website www.nebdn.org

If you are a qualified dental nurse via NEBDN or not, you can progress your career with one of their Post-Registration qualifications:

Each student that passes an NEBDN qualification will be able to purchase a widely recognised NEBDN badge. These qualifications are provided across the UK and Ireland via a network of 150+ accredited course provider sites. Each course provider is subject to regular quality assurance monitoring to ensure that NEBDN’s standards are maintained.

A full list of course providers are available on NEBDN’s website Course Provider search bar and will list the providers closest to you. Many courses are offered in more ways than one, for example, face to face, online, or blended learning - there will always be a course provider able to offer the qualification in the method you need.

Costs of courses vary between course providers, so please contact them to find out more about the options available. You can find their details on the search function above and enquire with them directly.
