FGDP(UK) offering free access to the Primary Dental Journal

The Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP(UK)) is currently offering non-members free access to the Primary Dental Journal (PBJ).

PDJ is the Faculty's quarterly peer-reviewed journal for primary dental care professionals, with three themed issues each year guest-edited by a renowned expert in the field, and one annual general issue covering a wide range of topics. Each issue offers valuable updates relevant to general dental practice, and helps dentists and DCPs translate current evidence into best practice.

Normally only available to subscribers and FGDP(UK) Members, online access is free for non-members and non-subscribers throughout July, without any need to register, at https://journals.sagepub.com/home/prd.

The free access covers not only the current issue, but the entire twenty year online archive of PDJ and its predecessor, Primary Dental Care.

Following this promotional period, continued access is available by taking out a subscription or joining the Faculty.

Membership of FGDP(UK) is open to all registered dental professionals, with annual fees from £66 for dentists and £46 for DCPs, and benefits includes four print issues of PDJ per year, access to the online archive, and access to over 50 hours of PDJ-based verifiable CPD. FGDP(UK) Members also benefit from online access to 11 other dental journals, including the British Dental Journal and Evidence-Based Dentistry.

Alternatively, annual print, online and combined subscriptions to PDJ are available from £111.
