BADN is delighted that the Teenage Cancer Trust ( has joined HPV Action (, of which BADN is a long time member. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month; and the Teenage Cancer Trust, together with other HPV Action members, is disappointed by the decision of the Governments across the UK not to allow boys who will not have had the vaccine the opportunity to catch-up as was the case when the vaccination became available for girls in 2008 and urges those Governments to change position and to make a public commitment to make the HPV vaccine available on the NHS for boys who make the decision that they would like to catch up. Ideally, this should be available to all boys and young men up to the age of 25.
