A young active UK forensic odontologist. Camilla began her professional career working in different areas of dentistry including community and oral surgery. After working abroad, she returned to the UK and set up her own dental practice in 2012 while obtaining an MSc (Distinction) in Forensic Odontology. With an interest in law, she recently graduated with an LLM in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice from Cardiff Law School.
She is a current member of the British Association for Forensic Odontology (BAFO) and has started undertaking forensic dental cases in the UK. Following a child protection case at a local hospital, Camilla has worked with paediatric doctors and local police to improve the recognition and recording of possible bite mark lesions.
National Examining Board for Dental Nurses is proudly sponsoring Dr George who will be presenting at the National Dental Nursing Conference 2019 about ''The role of the dental team in forensic dentistry" on Saturday 2 November.
